TAH Connections
Laura - I would like to take a minute and share my thoughts on our Teaching American History (TAH) Connections Project 2008 Summer Academy experience at Prospector Square Lodge & Conference Center.  During our week stay last June, we were treated incredibly well.  Our accommodations were outstanding and, where there were a couple of glitches in arrangements and suites, they were handled quickly and met with our expectations, even exceeded them.

The one downside was that there was no internet access in the rooms. Our meeting space was great and accommodated our needs quite well.  The staff was exceptional - they went beyond the call and bent over backwards to make sure all of our needs were met - nothing was too much to ask.  We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay.

For some of our teachers, this was the only vacation their families would have during the summer, so to be able to bring their families along was huge.  As Project Director for this Summer Academy, I was so impressed with the overall atmosphere, accommodations, staff, meeting space, proximity to restaurants and the bike trail, and reasonable rates that I immediately decided to book Prospector Square Lodge for our one week 2009 Summer Academy this June.  We're looking forward to another outstanding experience! ~~ Joan Mahoney
